I'm Mari McConathy


 A former ballet dancer and Certified Pilates Instructor with over 35 years of experience in movement, fitness, and body education. My path into Pilates was profoundly shaped by early mentorship from a Physical Therapist, which allowed me to develop a specialized, rehabilitation-informed approach for clients recovering from injury or managing conditions such as osteoporosis and scoliosis. 

I am fully certified STOTT PILATES® Instructor and currently serve as a Master Trainer for Club Pilates. My expertise centers on movement analysis, posture correction, functional alignment, and intelligent progression — enabling me to design highly personalized programs that are both safe and effective for each individual. 

In  addition to my Pilates credentials, I am a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM®) Certified Personal Trainer, with advanced specializations in Corrective exercise, women's fitness, senior fitness, weight loss, stretching and flexibility, and fitness nutrition. I am also certified in TRX® Suspension Training, further expanding my ability to create balanced, functional movement programs. 

My Pilates education is extensive and continually evolving. I have completed specialized training in Fletcher Pilates Towelwork, Barrework, and Floorwork, and I am certified in Pilates for Buff Bones® and Barre Above. I also completed Carolyne Anthony's Women's Health & Exercise Certification™ (2017) and the Polestar Pilates Scoliosis & Spinal Conditions Program (2024) — allowing me to confidently support clients with complex movement needs.

I'm known for a personalized, detail-driven teaching style that prioritizes posture, alignment, and purposeful movement. I work closely with each client to build strength, mobility, balance, and confidence — helping them move with greater ease, safety, and grace in their everyday lives. My mission is to empower you to trust your body again and move through life feeling capable, supported, and strong.
